The training includes developing teamwork, communication and organizational skills.

EAST- AYAWASO BASIC SCHOOL LEAGUE
At the beginning of every academic year, Schoolsport under the auspices of the Member of Parliament for East- Ayawaso Constituency runs a three (3) month long football league for both boys and girls from basic schools within the constituency.
The basic school league is to encourage so called truants to stay in school at least during the first academic term, to give those of them who might not be academically good, the opportunity to develop and exhibit their football talent and especially to promote girls’ participation in sports.
League matches are played on Wednesdays and Fridays during the period, at the Kawukudi Football Park in Maamobi, Accra.
O.C.L.F Inter-Library Sports Festival
SchoolSport in conjunction with Kathy Knowles’ Osu Children’s Library Fund (O.C.L.F.) organises an Inter Library Sports Festival every year in November for members of all five (5) O.C.L.F libraries in Ghana.
OTHER TRAINING COURSES
Coaching, Refereeing, First Aid and other sports developing courses are organized occasionally to equip co-ordinators, young leaders and volunteers of SchoolSport and refresh their knowledge with modern coaching and training ideas and methodologies.
