ABOUT SCHOOLSPORT
SchoolSport is
a registered youth sports organisation that aims to provide (especially) school
pupils with the opportunity to learn and play various sports.
Schoolsport was founded in July 2006 for all young people irrespective of their ability, religion, language, race, tribe, gender or age.
There are over forty (40) ‘Young Leaders’ involved, who have been trained to organise sporting events for younger people within their schools and community.
The Young Leaders are trained by two (2) facilitators who were trained by the British Council, and most of them (the young leaders) have taken part in the British Council’s worldwide sports project called Dreams and Teams

Nimobi Ladies emerge 2nd best in the world
Nimobi Ladies Football Club of SchoolSport represented Ghana and Africa in an international football tournament in Stockholm, Sweden.
Nimobi Ladies beat Sweden (the host nation) 2-1 in the semi finals, before losing to Denmark in the grand finale to emerge the 1st runner-up of the 2013 edition of the 14 nation tournament dubbed MTG United for Peace Cup. The girls from Nima and Maamobi really made Ghana proud and proved that they are undoubtedly, the 2nd best girls' Under 14 football team in the world. |
